Hot Cheesy Spinach Dip(Party dip)
I love this hot cheesy spinach dip who wouldn't??? I am great fan of dip all Fridays some kinds of dip will be there on my dinning table for our movie night. I love Guacamole very much its my most fav one but next to it I love this hot spinach dip,it gives you a satisfaction like you are eating a garlicky flavored pizza with lots of cheese in them. Its def a party based dip and no own will leave without giving y0u compliment for making such a finger licking dip,so here goes the recipe. It taste awesome with pita bread/tortilla chips or garlic bread. Its up to you.
- Prep Time : 10 minutes
- Cook Time : 20-25 minutes
- Yield : 2-3 person
Ingredients
- Spinach - 1 cup
- Butter/Olive oil - 2 tsp
- Onion,finely sliced - 1/4 cup
- Garlic,finely crushed(or you can use garlic powder too) - 5-6(if powder use 1 1/2 tsp)
- Cream cheese(soft) - 6 ounce(small pack)
- Hot sauce(I used tabasco) - 1 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup
- Mozzarella cheese,shredded - 1/2 cup
- Salt and Pepper - as per requirement
- Garlic bread/Tortilla chips/Pita bread - 2 cup
Instructions
1. In a bowl wash spinach and microwave for 2 mins. Drain the water completely and chop it fine.
2. In a pan add olive oil/butter and saute onion & garlic for few mins. Let it cool down.
3. Then in a bowl add softened cream cheese and let it be in room temperature(it should be in melting stage)to this add onion-garlic mix,hot sauce,spinach pieces,Parmesan cheese,mozzarella cheese,salt & pepper.Mix them all well.
4. In a oven safe bowl spray some oil and transfer the mix. To this spread more mozzarella on top and bake it at 375 def F for 20-25 min. I broiled it for 4 more min to get that brown look(I love it)
5. Serve this hot cheesy spinach dip with pita bread/tortilla chips or garlic bread. Its such a heavenly combination.
