Pottukadalai Chutney/Hotel Chutney
This is the chutney that we eat with dosa & idly in hotels its simple to make and goes well with all kind of dosa,when I am lazy to make special chutney then this one comes handy I remember my mom making this to one of my close friend shruti during my college days she just used to love this flavor even now whenever I make this chutney I remember her all the time.

Ingredients
- Pottu kadalai/Roasted channa dal - 1/4 cup
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies - 7-8
- Garlic flakes - 2
- Tamarind(optional) - small piece
- Salt to taste
- For Seasoning
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Urad dal(ulandham paruppu) - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - as per requirement
Instructions
- Put all the things mentioned above in the ingredient section and grind them together in mixie/blender.
- Pour half glass of water and grind them well to get a loose consistency.
- Add the seasoning to the chutney and mix it,now serve with any kind of dosa/idly variety.
