Punugulu/Urad dal Bonda(Andhra Snack)
A very popular Andhra snack that you can see throughout in local streets of Andhra Pradesh. My mom makes this too..... probably mom must have learned it when I was in school like in 3rd or 4th grade. We used to live in Vijayawada,Andhra pradesh for few years and it was such a lovely days. I have lot of memories there....my best childhood memories I could say. Playing with lots of friends on the streets for hours, ignoring the sun and the dust or pollution. When all our energies are drained we would go back to the house drinking lots of water and this snack would be out in the evening. It is so crispy and yet soft inside, You will just love the taste. It goes well with any side dish like coconut chutney or sambar or any other chutney. It's very simple to make and will be ready in 2 mins if the dosa batter is ready at home. I still prepare this at home because my hubby loves it.
