Lemon Rice
Lemon is used very frequently in all Indian houses.I like to pack this rice for lunch box no much fuzziness in morning quick and easy.This pairs well with spicy potato fry or potato chips.There is a list of food that I make when I am lazy cook and this one is defenetely on list.You can be out of kitchen in no time.Best for bachelors.

Ingredients
- Lemon - 2
- Green chillies,long slit - 5-7
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garlic - 6
- Grated ginger - 1 tsp
- For Seasoning
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Urad dal(ulandham paruppu) - 1/4 tsp
- Channa dal/kadala paruppu - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - as per taste
- Asofaetida(hing) - a pinch
- Salt to taste
Instructions
1.Squeeze lemon to juice.Slit green chillies to long.I added whole garlic but you can slice them to two pieces too.
2.In a kadai/pan add some oil and do the seasoning step by step then add garlic and saute them well then pour lemon juice.Now add turmeric powder,ginger,salt and hing.Let it boil for a min then remove from fire.
3.Now add the boiled rice and stir it well in lemon mix.Then add the garnished coriander leaves and mix it well.
4.Serve it with potato fry or any side dish to your liking.
