Channa Puri / Chickpeas Puri(Kids recipe)
Channa puri or chickpea is very easy to make and its kids fav too. Its full of protein and good for picky kids. All kids love puri and when it has channa or chickpeas in dough they would eat more and we can feel happy that they have eaten something protein today. You can always store that extra channa that was left over while making channa masala and add it next day for your breakfast.

Ingredients
- Channa /kondaKadalai /Chickpeas,boiled - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 2 cup
- Omam / Carom Seeds/ Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
Instructions
1. Boil channa and keep it separate, blend them well to paste and keep it separate.
2. To this mix wheat flour,salt and ajwain . Knead the well by adding little water. Then roll them and make like puri shape and deep fry it in oil. Quick,tasty and healthy puri is ready

an interesting way of making pooris. i am wondering how they will taste. a low fat version would be to make rotis or parathas with the same dough.
