Chilly Parotta/Chilly Barotta
Chilly Parotta/Barotta is very Famous in Restaurants.People don't try it at home thinking its a long process truth is its not,it is time consuming if you make the whole parotta dough process but if you are able to grab some frozen parotta or if you have leftover ones then this dish can be done in no time.I love the ways its deep fried and cut in to cube shapes the colour combination is so relishing.

Ingredients
- Parotta - 5
- Onion,sliced long - 3
- Tomato - 2
- Green chillies,finely chopped - 4
- Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
- Ginger,chopped fine - 4 tsp
- Garlic,finely minced - 4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Capsicum - 1-2(small size)
- Peas - 1/2 cup
- Spring onions - as per requirement
- Sombhu/Fennel seed - 1 tsp
- For Batter:
- Maida flour - 4 tsp
- Corn flour - 3 tsp
- Red chilly sauce - 2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
Instructions
1.Finely chop onions,garlic,ginger and keep it separate.
2.Now finely chop tomatoes,capsicum and green chillies.
3.Add oil in kadai/wok and fry some fennel seeds for a min.Then saute chopped ginger,garlic,green chillies and onions.Let the onions turn soft and tender.
4.Now add tomatoes and fry them for 3 min till they get completely pulpy.Then add turmeric pow,chilly pow,garam masala and salt.Let it cook for 5 mins till the raw smell is gone.
5.Now add peas and capsicum then add 1/4 glass of water let it cook for 5 more mins.Then switch off the stove.
6.Now take the parotta and cut them in to cubes,then in a cup add maida,corn flour,red chilly sauce,ginger garlic paste,salt.Mix it well with little water.
7.Dip the parotta in to the mixed batter and deep fry them in a separate kadai/pan till they are crispy.
8.Now add the roasted parotta in to the mix and stir it for 2 min keeping the flame low.Now garnish with spring onion and serve it with Raita.
