By July 9, 2012

I love this curd vada, south Indian version is prepared by adding seasoning on top and they are very simple but I personally prefer North Indian dahi/curd vada only. They have all spices mixed in them and they are so colorful.I just go crazy for it.Your guest will be super happy if you serve this, its very simple and perfect munch for evening times or can be served as deserts too.

  • Prep Time : 10 minutes
  • Cook Time : 5 minutes

Instructions

1.Click this vadai to see the recipe but I made the vadai plain instead of adding many ingredients inside it.

2.Boil water in microwave for 2 min and dip the vadas in it.Leave it for 5-10 mins.If you cant make perfect vada just roll it like balls and deep fry them and soak in water as shown in pic.

3.Now squeeze the vada well by pressing with hand.

4.Take one bowl of curd and beat it well add little salt and immerse the vadas inside the curd and leave in for 20 mins. Then add 2 tsp of coriander chutney and mix it well in curd.I had a batch of sweet chutney too,add it before serving to your guest.
