Poori Masala
Everyone love pooris why wouldn't they?People who watch their weight stay away from poori because of its oil content but I am a food lover,I would say don't be thinking about your weight when you are having your poori we can burn that calorie walking or jogging in the evening....hahahah.I had tough time clicking the puffed poori ,by the time I grab my camera they would lose its puffiness hmm....got tired so just clicked whatever came.It was early in the morning and I was hungry didn't have much patience.

Ingredients
- Whole Wheat flour - 2 cup
- Potatoes,boiled - 4
- Onion,finely chopped - 1
- Tomato,cubed - 1
- Green chillies,long slit - 6-8
- Peas - 11/4 cup
- Ginger,grated - 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves,finely chopped - 1/2 cup
- Besan gram flour/kadalai mavu - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- For Seasoning
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal(ulandham paruppu) - 1/2 tsp
- Channa dal/kadala paruppu - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - as per requirement
- Asofaetida(hing) - a pinch
Instructions
1.Chop onion,tomato,green chillies in a plate add boil the fresh peas for 5 minutes.
2.Heat oil in kadai/pan add seasoning items one by one then fry for a minute then add onion,tomato,green chillies,peas and fry them well till they become soft and tender.
3.Now add 1 glass of water and let it boil for 2 min,then add grated ginger,salt,hing,turmeric powder,red chilly powder stir well ,then add the crushed boiled potato to the mix and stir well.
4.Now let it boil for 5 minutes then mix besan powder to water and make it like liquid and add to the masala.Finally garnish with fresh coriander leaves and let it boil for 2 more min and remove from fire.
