Sweet Paniyaram/Nei Appam

Sweet Kuzhi Paniyaram is one of the most famous sweet in Chettinad tiffen variety,they are not too sweet but a definite delight to our taste buds.Adding banana to this gives a soft & fluffy paniyaram.It has jaggery so its good for health.

Ingredients

1.Take wheat flour in a bowl,add some elachi powder to it.

2.Now heat the kadai/pan pour some water and let it boil then add the jaggery to it let it dilute completely then strain it using a filter so that no mud or stone is present.

3.Now add that jaggery water to the wheat flour and mix it well.mash the banana well and add to it.No lumps must be formed.

4.Heat the paniyaram pan and add 1/4 tsp of ghee let it boil for few sec then pour the dough.Let it rest for 2 min.Then turn to the other side.soft and fluffy sweet paniyaram is ready to eat.
