Capsicum Chutney
I'm a big fan of capsicum I just love the flavour of it.I add capsicum to most of my dish in fact to many dishes when I make north Indian food.When I made this chutney for the first time I was very skeptical my mom told me I must give it a try she made it in 3 varieties but this one I liked the best.I usually make this one little spicy and add raw oil on top of it while eating but its up to us either way mixed with oil or raw it taste simple amazing.

Ingredients
- Capsicum - 2(big)
- Onion - 1/2
- Tomatoes or tamarind - 1
- Dry red chillies - 6-8
- Saltt o taste
- Asofaetida(hing) - a pinch
- For Seasoning
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal(ulandham paruppu) - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - as per requirement
Instructions
1.In a kadai fry capsicum first till they change colour mildly and they are semi cooked,keep it separate.
2.Like wise keep frying the onion,tomatoes till they become soft and tender and keep it separate and let it cool.
3.Add little oil and fry the red chillies till they turn dark brown and keep separate.Let all of the ingredients cool down then run through the blender and make it a fine paste.
4.Add salt and hing and mix it well.Then in a kadai do the seasoning given above and pour it to the chutney mix it well and serve with dosa or idly it will be so good.
