Chilly Garlic Fried Rice

By June 15, 2012

Everyone who lived or still lives in NJ would know "NANKING" Restaurant its a Indo-Chinese one and was always crowded.Food is really good. But I used to like this particular one a lot dont know why but was a huge fan of it.When we used to live in NJ, this place was one of my favourite. This dish is very simple and easy to make.

  • Prep Time : 10 minutes
  • Cook Time : 15 minutes
  • Yield : 2-3

Instructions

1.Boil rice first and refrigerate them in fridge for 15 min this will help the rice get little dry and will not stick to each other and will exactly look how we eat in restaurants.
2.Now chop onions, garlic finely and keep it aside.

3.Chop carrots, soak the frozen peas in water for sometime.

4.Heat olive oil in a wok and saute garlic for few mins. Then saute onions for few mins.Add carrots and peas and fry them too.

5.Now add red chillies in a blender and make a powder not too fine but flakes must be slightly visible. Then add it to the mix and stir well.

6.Now add scheswan sauce and soya sauce together and toss it for few mins.Check if salt is needed ,already soya sauce and scheswan carries little salt in them.so always check and then add.

7.Now add the rice and keep tossing for few more min until the rice gets completely coated with sauce then garnish it with spring onion and serve hot.
