Coriander Chutney
Coriander chutney/green chutney is a refreshing Indian condiment that goes with nearly everything like idly to dosa,samosas,sandwich.This is a simple and common one. I will be loading more types in coming post...so here it goes

Ingredients
- Coriander leaves - 1 cup
- Coconut pieces - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies - 8
- Garlic - 2
- Tamarind - a little
- Salt to taste
- Whole urad dal (ulantham paruppu) - 1 tsp(fry)
- Asofaetida(hing) - a pinch
- For Seasoning
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Urad dal(ulandham paruppu) - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5-6
Instructions
- Dry roast the urad dal till they turn mild brown in colour.
- To the blender add coriander leaves ,coconut,garlic,tamarind,salt,hing and blend together.
- Add 1/2 glass water and the urad dal roasted and blend one more time.
- Now heat the kadai/pan pour some oil and add the seasoning items one by one and pour it on top of the chutney.
- Serve this chutney with all kinds of dosa&idly variety.
