Gujarati Dal

By August 24, 2012

My dad's favorite.I don't know how this dal got introduced in to my family, but he is a big fan of it.Even though we are south Indian my dad,me and my brother have really craving towards North Indian food.(oops I told the truth). This dal taste very nice, it has a nice ginger and chilly flavor dominating the dal taste.Traditionally they add little jaggery at the end.I haven't added it in this dal, because we are more spicy people but you can add a tsp it wont harm the flavor. It will taste very good.
