I love dosa with chutney and sambar variety and this kothsu is suitable for pongal, dosa, idly and also idiyappam. They feel so light and very tasty. I was never a great fan of it until my sister Yogi gave me her recipe. I made it the next day and well I really LOVED it. Its very simple to make and can be done in 15 mins maximum.

If you are bored with the regular chutney try this. It goes very well with pongal. Even my kid liked it a lot. I liked when I made it spicy. This dish is usually mild but when you are making with idly try to make it little spicy otherwise both the dish will be blunt in taste. More spicy more tasty. Now lets move to recipe....

  • Prep Time : 10 minutes
  • Cook Time : 20 minutes
  • Yield : 4 person

2. Now in a pan do the seasoning mentioned above and add the cooked dal items and let it boil for 5 mins.

3. To this add chilly powder, salt, coriander powder and kuzhambhu powder and let it cook for 10 mins. Let the raw smell go off.
